Hey, friends! Welcome to Season 6 of the Purpose to Create podcast! I’m your host, Natarsha Wright—business strategist, certified life coach, and founder of Purpose to Create™. This is a space for purpose-driven creatives to clear the noise, fuel their creativity with resilience, and lean into their purpose. I share actionable strategies and insights to help you thrive—both personally and professionally. Let’s get into it!
We’re easing into 2025 with a fresh perspective. For me, the New Year doesn’t truly begin until spring arrives—it feels more natural to align with the rhythm of the seasons. In January, there’s so much pressure to hit the ground running, but meaningful growth doesn’t happen all at once. It happens at your pace.
This season, I’m reminding myself (and you) to pause, reflect, and create a foundation that supports intentional growth. It’s not about sprinting out of the gate. It’s about moving with grace, at a rhythm that works for you.
Here’s the truth: routines aren’t one-size-fits-all, and they’re rarely linear. What worked for you last year—or even last month—might not work now. And that’s okay. Life shifts, seasons change, and your routines should evolve too.
So, instead of diving into rigid structures, focus on:
Setting Intentions: What do you want this season to feel like?
Building Sustainable Habits: What small actions align with your current needs?
Listening to Yourself: What pace feels supportive for you right now?
From Clutter to Clarity
One win I’m carrying into 2025 is moving from clutter to clarity. It’s been a process, but clearing out the physical, digital, and emotional “stuff” has been so freeing.
First stop: my closet. At the end of 2024, I tackled a massive decluttering project. I went through everything, piece by piece, and now I can finally see what I own (and stop buying duplicates—hello, I have Zara at home!).
Next stop: my digital world. Over the past few months, I reevaluated how I want to show up online. It started with purging my Facebook—removing myself from 100+ groups I’d been added to over the years. From there, I decided to step away from Facebook altogether. I deleted my LinkedIn and deleted all of my Pinterest boards. On Instagram, I took a drastic step: I went from following 2,000+ accounts to… zero. You read that right—zero. I essentially deleted accounts that were inactive and just kept them because that's what everyone says you should do, but it's pointless to old on to things that have no value in my life and business, so they had to go. The accounts I did keep all serve an intentional purpose. When it no longer serves a purpose then they will be deleted when it's time.
It might sound extreme, but this digital decluttering has created space for clarity. It’s given me the freedom to reassess who and what I allow into my mental space.
Here’s what I’ve learned: Sometimes we don’t need more—more clothes, more storage, more stuff. Often, we already have what we need. We just need to make room for it. We are often distracted by things that keep us from what we really should be focused on.
Gentle Reminders for 2025
As we step into this new year, here are three gentle reminders for you:
Your pace is valid. Don’t compare your journey to someone else’s highlight reel.
Focus on alignment, not hustle. Build routines that honor your current season.
Celebrate progress, not just results. Every step forward matters.
Purposeful Pause
📝 What’s one intention guiding you into 2025?
📝 What routine feels sustainable and supportive for you right now?
📝 How can you give yourself grace when things don’t go as planned?
Affirmation:
"I create space—physically, digitally, and emotionally—for what truly aligns with me. Clarity flows when I let go of what no longer serves me."
Here’s to a year of aligned growth, gentle routines, and showing up for yourself—one intentional step at a time.
